NowShare is a technology blog and lightweight file-sharing service. These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe the rules you agree to when using our website and services, including publishing community markdown posts and storing files.

Using the Service

You may use NowShare to publish content and upload files. You are responsible for the content you upload or publish. You must not upload or distribute content that violates any applicable laws or third-party rights, including copyrighted material, pornography involving minors, or other illegal content.

File Storage & Delivery

Files uploaded to the service are stored in Cloudflare systems. Files are delivered via a CDN-style cache route for fast downloads. We may provide presigned URLs for direct uploads and downloads; these URLs are short-lived or governed by the permissions set when the file is uploaded.

Retention and Deletion

We retain uploaded files and metadata until you delete them or until the account/publisher is removed, subject to our moderation and legal obligations. If you want a file removed, use the provided delete functionality or contact us via the Contact page. We may also remove content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is illegal.

Moderation

Community posts and uploaded files may be moderated. We reserve the right to remove or disable access to content that violates these Terms or that we believe may be harmful. Moderation decisions are final and may be appealed by contacting support.

Accounts and Publishers

Publisher features use Clerk for authentication. Publishers are responsible for their uploads and must comply with these Terms. We may limit uploads per user to prevent abuse.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that content will not be lost.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NowShare and its maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages arising from your use of the service.
