NowShare operates a technology blog and file-sharing service. We respect your privacy and provide this policy to explain how we collect and use information.

Data we collect

• File metadata: filename, size, MIME type, createdAt, and optional description/title you provide.
• Account information: when you sign up as a publisher via Clerk we store identifiers needed to link uploads to accounts.
• Operational logs: IP addresses and user-agent strings for abuse prevention and moderation.

Storage

Uploaded files are stored in Cloudflare. We store lightweight metadata in a database. Files are served via a cache-aside CDN proxy for performance.

Cookies & Authentication

We use cookies for Clerk authentication and minimal session management. Third-party services (Clerk, analytics, CDNs) may set their own cookies — consult their privacy policies for details.

Retention

Files and metadata are retained until deleted by the uploader or by administrative moderation. If you need content removed, use the Contact page.

Moderation

We may remove or disable access to files that violate our Terms or local laws. We will notify the uploader when possible.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account data and files via the Contact page. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
